CORONER: So, on that evidence that has been present
the other documentary evidence, I have to make my findings in
respect to that matter. But,

date. I have had the opportunity of listening to the various
witnesses that have given oral evidence to the Court, and I have also had the opportunity of reading closely the
statements and t that are on file.
I propose to make my findings in respect to this matter. TI
find about the death that the name of the deceased was David
n Jones, a male person. His last address was 77 Railway
asshouse Mountains. His date of birth was the 7th
ef July 1969, making him at the time 37 years of age.
How the person died. At about 7op.m. to 7.30 p.m. on the Oth

At about 7.56 p.m., the deceased was run over by a motor vehicle driven by Anthony Jones, which was travelling south on

Constable King, I am satisfied that the deceased was hit by

sparate motor vehicles at two separate times between 7.37
p.m. and 7.56 p.m.
The deceased's body was moved by the first moter vehicle

impact on the northbound. lane to the southbound location o!
the second impact with the motor venicle driven by Mr Jon
l am satisfied that the death of the deceased was caused when run over by the first motor vehicle impact. This motor
vehicle remains unidentified.
On the evidence before this inguest, I am satisfied that it was the actions of the deceased and not any other person or persons that placed the body of the deceased across the
roadway prior to the first impact with the motor vehicle.
This'is when the person died, on the. 10th of

the person died was Railway Parade, the cause of the death was multiple inturies when run over by
a motor vehicle on Rail Parade, Glasshouse Mountains.
In the circ tances, I am of the view that the death was not
reasonably preventable, that there were no procedural or ;
systematic forms likely to reduce the occurrence of similar

deaths, and that the inquest has not raised any issues
pertinent to public health or the administration of justice.
I make no further comments in respect to this inquest. Tf now
