Address: 86 Lemont Avenue, Mount Waverley, Victoria 3149 AND having held an inquest in relation to this death on 8th August, 2011 at Melbourne find that the identity of the deceased was PAULL ERNEST YOUNG and death occurred on 13th January, 2011
at Monash Medical Centre, 246 Clayton Road, Clayton 3168
from la. ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION
in the following circumstances:
- Paul Ernest Young was aged 66 years at the time of his death. He lived at 86 Lemont Avenue, Mount Waverley.
2, The coronial brief has fully addressed the circumstances of Mr Young,
- Mr Young was a long term resident of the Kew Cottages until it was closed at which time he was placed in Department of Human Services’ care residences. In early 2000, he was moved
to the Lemond Avenue residence where he remained until his death.
- I am satisfied that Mr Young received appropriate care and attention throughout the course of his life, in particular, whilst a resident in care of the Department of Human Services,

Post Mortem Medical Examination
- On the 18th January, 2011, Dr Paul Bedford, Forensic Pathologist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, performed an autopsy on the body of Paul Ernest Young.
6. Dr Bedford found the cause of death to be acute myocardial infarction.
- Dr Bedford commented: "There was significant coronary artery disease and a clot in a major coronary artery leading to a recent heart attack, When the heart is severely damaged abnormal fatal
heart rhythms can develop.
There are no suspicious circumstances,"!
Finding
I find the€a\ise of death of Paul Ernest Young to be acute myocardial infarction.
